30,000 Yaba tablets seized, 3 held by Lakhipur police

SILCHAR: Acting on a tip-off, Lakhipur police recovered 30,000 Yaba tablets and arrested three persons from Bagpur part -2 on Sunday. Police arrested Jamkhomang Haokip, a resident of Churachandpur of Manipur, Nazimuddin of Sonai and Ripon Uddin Laskar of Dudhpatil, Silchar. They were carrying the banned tablets, presumably smuggled from Manipur.
